Cartoon Dump: Where some of the 'worst' toons included on Toonopedia go.

I have seen that there is a growing interest in TV-like shows produced specifically for the internet.

There is also a need for a toon-centric version of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Recently, Frank Conniff (who appeared as 'TV's Frank' on MST3K) teamed up with animation historian Jerry Beck to create such a show titled 'Cartoon Dunp'. (Conniff was not the only notable MST3K alumnus on the show. Joel Hodgeson a.k.a. Joel Robinson voices Dumpster Diver Dan on the Dump!)

The main purpose of Cartoon Dunp is to spotlight obscure toons from Jerry Beck's archives. Some of them are seen on the Toonopedia!

Episode One: Mighty Mister Titan

Episode Two: The Big World of Little Adam

Episode Three: Bucky & Pepito

Episode Four: Captain Fathom

Episode Five: Spunky & Tadpole

Sorry I missed this when you first posted it, J. I don't know how that happened.

I just want to add that I'm a great admirer of Jerry's work, which I've known since about the time he became a charter member of Apatoons, which my wife and I founced in 1981. He's also the guy who took over running the organization when we were no longer able to do it, and it's largely because of him that it's thriving today.

Cartoon Dump celebrates the turkeys of TV animation, and there sure are a lot of them. Worth checking out.
