Does anybody remember this cartoon? I am thinking it was called Hercules Hare, they would play the Can-Can during the action sequences.
I have done numerous searches and keep coming up with nothing.

Hare-cules Hare was a supporting character in Beany & Cecil. Or at least, he was the subject of a B&C cartoon. I don't recall whether or not he was a regular. But I can still hear his theme -- "dad-dah-dah-dah, hurry hurry, Hare-cules", to the tune of Offenbach's "Orpheus returning from the Underworld", or as the world knows it, the Can-Can.

It was "Harecules Hare", and was
a one-shot on "Beany & Cecil". Part of "Can-Can" was indeed played during the cartoon.

You already answered that question!)

Thanks for chiming in anyway. The more heads we have to apply to questions like this, the better the boards will be.

I remember this cartoon, and was asking around to see if anyone else did. However, I remember it being about some sort or rodent hopping into a tin can and turning it into a 'giant missile'. So the tune went 'Hurry Hurry Hercules (Hare cules) dah dah dah dah, time to launch your giant missile giant missile. Then this giant missile in the shape of a fist would launch a beat the crap out of what ever was chasing 'Hercules' or 'Harecules' Does any of this ring any bells to anyone? Thanks ... cb
