I am also looking for a cartoon that contains the line oft spoken by the pessimist in the show, "I never go anywhere, I never do anything, and I don't have any friends. This could have been one that featured caricatures of Betty Davis, Humphrey Bogart and Clark Gable, but I am not sure. Any help on the title and where it might be purchased would be helpful.

Old theatrical cartoon, right? Not a TV series? I'm pretty sure I remember it, but can't think of the name. Most studios did Hollywood caricature vehicles, but that sounds like a Warner Bros. I expect to have a little down time this afternoon, and I'll try to use it to track it down. Right now, tho, I'm at the tail end of a really busy few days, when I've been trying to get a piece of writing finished and out the door, and am just taking a break.

Could it be a characterization of the deadpan actor Ned Sparks? He was depicted as a hermit crab in WB "Fresh Fish" and as himself in "Malibu Beach Party".
