Does anybody know whatever happened to Jack Moore, author of the "Kelly" (later "Kelly and Duke") comic strip? It was one of my favorites from the early 1970s.

No idea. Sorry. I do know that under one name or the other, it ran 1972-79.
The Grand Comics Database offers the info that Jack Moore's work appeared in two (the only two?) issues of The South Middlesex News Comic Book. Here's his cover for #2. (The first featured [http://www.toonopedia.com/meekle.htm]Winthrop.) (I have no other info about this publication, including and most especially where one can lay hands on a copy.)
Can anyone else help?
