Hey everybody, I know I'm being prolific, but I'm looking for a much loved 'toon I haven't seen in 15 years or so... Back in the earyly nineties, the Nickelodeon network used to run a show called "Weinerville" that, tho mostly shrill and irritating, aired obscure sixties/seventies cartoons like the great Batfink. One of the shows they aired featured a little Cousin Itt-like furball who was a hippie constantly trying to get his father to embrace peace, love, music, and the whole bag. Does this ring anybody's bell?

Not mine. I'm generally more of a fan of Nickelodeon than Cartoon Network or Disney Channel (tho they have their turkeys, like Chalk Zone and Dora the Explorer. But I don't recall that one. Strikes me as sort of an anachronism, more like what you'd expect from the '70s than the '90s.
I've got a grandson who's a big fan of Dora, which gets a groan from me when he watches it at my house. And that always gets criticism from his mom, who can't figure out why I got to be such a big fan of Mr. Rogers, after seeing how well her generation responded to him when they were hid age. I do like a lot of stuff aimed at his demographic, like The Backyardigans, but Dora leaves me cold.
Anyway, I'm a Nickelodeon man. Danny Phantom does it for me a lot better than Kim Possible or Powerpuff Girls. But not Wienerville. Sorry.
