An addition to your article on John Law (Tarantuala.) According to recent DC continuity, Law finally finished his book, and, was published during the time the JSA was inactive. When last heard from, he was an improverished neighbor in Brudhaven of a certain Dick Grayson, (Nightwing.) Law died during an attack on Grayson's building.

Also, there was a new Tarantula brought out during that same run. This time it was a girl named Catalina Flores (and she wore a midriff bearing costume-- like a smorgasbord of post-nineties cliches all rolled into one) who was one of the harder edged heroes placed into Nightwing's book to compare and contrast and do the whole Manchester Black two-step. Her only real notable accomplishment-- no, I'm not joking-- was that she raped Nightwing.
Tarantula, the girl who raped Robin. Boy, I bet Marvel loved that free press.

So, Chuck, another one bites the dust, eh? At this rate, DC will have killed off all its 1940s superheroes in only 700 years. Maybe even sooner!
But -- a new one, Kelly? Oh, that is such a cliché! And a post-'90s rapist, to bloot! The clichés keep on piling up! I'm told female rape actually does occur, but while I can imagine how one might stage the traditional kind to get it past the Comics Code Authority, this information astounds me. How'd they manage it? (Or did DC drop the CCA while I wasn't looking?
