Hi,
I wonder, what is the technique used for "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and for "Cool World"?
Can you tell me a little bit more?
Thanks

You mean, the mixing of live-action with animation that goes back to the days of Koko the Clown? That's a topic way too big for one of these little comment boxes, and I'm not really qualified to answer anyway, because I have only a hazy idea of film production, myself. Sorry I can't help.
You might check out books on the subject, but again, I'm not the one to help find them. A word to look for in book descriptions is "matte". Quack, Don
Again, Google might be the answer. Use the term "matte" as your subject. You might also check Wikipedia, or, other online encyclopedias.
Write your favorite movie critic; Roger Ebert, Pultizer Prize winning reviewer for the Chicago Sun-Times as a "movie answer man" feature that runs weekly. The print version might be syndicated, and, it's featured on his web site, RogerEbert.com. |
