I noticed that on The Roman Holidays page you noted that it is unknown and largely forgotten. That's too bad, I remember loving that show.
So, it's not forgotten by everyone, for I remember it well, even the words to the theme song which is running through my head right now; a scary enough proposition since I haven't heard it since about 1976.
I was thinking about it just the other day, during a Latin class I teach.
The theme song said that Happy Holiday was the "big brother", not the son-in-law.
I love the site. It has brought back so many memories, but you've probably heard that a lot.
Theme Song words in case you're interested:
(Chorus)
When in Rome
We'll do like the Roman's do
And Play like the Roman's play, together.
We're all invited, so right this way
We're gonna meet the Roman Holidays
**
You'll love Gus and Laurie, Precocia too
and Big Brother Hap Holiday.
And Brutus the Lion, the family cat.
Who'll eat you out of house and home as quick as that! *snap*
**
Repeat Chorus
