Hi,
I'm new to Toonopedia. I was looking at the page on "Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact." Boy, does that take me back !! All of us in the grade school I attended received it regularly. I recall that "Chuck White and His Friends" figured prominently in the story lineup.
A certain serial toon that 'TC' (as it was referred to) had at one point was called "The Champ at Camp", which depicted -- not too surprisingly -- the lives of some kids at a summer camp. The protagonist was a rather rotund young fellow ("The Champ") who was called, if memory serves -- and it probably does, because this name would be hard to forget -- 'Frumson Wooters.' It was hilarious. I was wondering if anyone else who remembers having received TC while in school can recall this serial story?

I was a Treasure Chest subscriber during the only year I attended a Catholic grade school, I think about 1960-61 or so. I don't recall that particular one, but there were so many serialized stories. It really is an unjustly ignored title.
Frumson Wooters, huh? Cool name.
