Ugly dog cartoon?
I have this cartoon I watched when I was a kid in the 1980s that I'm trying to remember the name of. Even though I watched it back in the 80's, I think the animation was more 70's. It was a cartoon about this huge dog that is so ugly, it walks around with a doghouse on its head at all times. If it lifts the doghouse off its head, people scream and the earth shakes. I can't remember the dog's name but he was the sidekick to Mighty Man, one of the secondary 'toons on Flimation's Tarzan and the super seven (or, something similar.
I actually know this one! He was Yukk, faithful non-human sidekick of Mighty Man, a superhero starring in one of the back segments of The Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show, circa 1979 or '80. I'll do an article on them sooner or later (but then, I always say that).

Well at least I had the production house, and, the other main character right. Plastic Man-now there's a recont'd for TV. At least the comics occasionally remember his origin as "Eel" O'Brian, I don't believe TV in any of his Flimation incarnations ever touched on that.
Huh. You know what's funny, I can remember the dog clear as day, but the superhero costar completely escaped my mind. Am I just weird? :)

That's pretty weird, I guess, but I doubt you're just weird. Surely, you must have a few normal traits too. (I, for example, am pretty weird, but I dislike the work of Vince Colletta, and that's perfectly normal.) (I just wrote a blog entry about that.)
