Hey, Don, I had a question. I know it would take forever and it's probably far out of the already massive scope of what you're trying to do here, but do you think you'll ever get around to doing a few villains as mainline articles? I know Black Pete got one, and there're probably a few I'm forgetting, but do you have any plans to do write-ups on characters like the Joker, Lex Luthor, Dr. Doom, et. al.?

Kal;
If you look at the list, you'd see that Don Already has done articles on at least a few well know villains, such as Dr. Doom, and, the Joker. And, as the "muse" strikes him, probably will do more.

Thanks, Chuck. The "muse" strikes me in some of the darnedest ways.
I did Dr. Doom several years ago, as part of a long-term project to get every Lee & Kirby character who later had his own series done. And he's a good one, too -- top-notch villain, and an influential one as well, being part of the inspiration for Darth Vader.
And The Joker was a special request. My wife, GiGi, loves to play poker in bars, and participates in poker message boards a lot. A lot of people use some variation of "Joker" as a screen name on those, so she asked me to do that one to give her an excuse to plug the site. But I would've done him eventually anyway, because he's my very favorite villain, and never better than when he's being treated as a real derange-o.
Pete is here because he's Disney's longest-running character, of course.
I've also done a number of villains who were protagoniss of their own series, such as Desperate Desmond, Eclipso, and The Brain (of "Pinky ans --").
I never thought that much of Luthor, tho. He never seemed all that interesting to me. But he's such a biggie at DC, maybe someday I'll write him up. For that one, the "muse" will have to whop me upside the head hard.
A good villain is often an interesting character. (Too bad so many of them are bland and dull.) So I'm not going to preclude doing more of them.
Quack, Don
