ahh!! help me, my head hurts!

Hi everyone, I am wracking my brain and google's brain trying to find this darn cartoon I somewhat vividly remember from my childhood. I will try to give as many detailed descriptions as possible:

The main "hero" is a young boy who appears to be some sort of Hercules. I think the entire movie is covering Greek mythology. At one point he walks through a sea of peppermints and candycanes. At one scene there are 3 gigantic cylops passing an eye ball between each other they can all take turns looking around...at absolutely nothing. At another scene, I believe he cuts off Medusa's head and out springs a baby pegasus! And another scene I remember well is that there are two girls, one dark-haired and one blonde, who fight for his attention, but - I think it's only one of them - he can't look at or he'll turn to stone. Like it's her curse. ...and somehow, she ends up turning to stone, falling and cracking, while he walks away from her...

Does any of this sound familiar to ANYONE???? please help!!

That... sounds more like an acid trip than a cartoon, but I'll do some looking. Can you give me a ballpark decade?

All I can do is repeat what Kal said -- what time frame are we looking at here? Parts of it sound a little like the 1977 Raggedy Ann movie, but not enough to where I'd say there's much liklihood of it. Sorry.

Yeah, I thought about that (the Rageddy Ann movie) too... It's possible you're misremembering that picture, or combining it with something else. About how old were you when you saw this movie? The reason I ask is, there've been times when I saw remembered two different (and, occasionally, disparate) things and combined them into one. So, do you have any idea on a.) the decade this may have come out, b.) how old you were when you saw it?

don't think it was Hercules, all I remember of that was the pan? {half goatboy} that always repeated himself,repeated himself...annoying as hell I think it was a Canadian production, not one of our shining moments

I thought of Mighty Hercules, but rejected it because it didn't seem that close a match. I was waiting for you to give the time frame, which would have been an important clue.

What did cinch it was your citing the "pan" character. Herc's sidekick was a satyr named Newton, who did have the annoying verbal tic you describe here.
