Help me please. I remember a cartoon from my childhood about a boy with an airplane who flew to different planets and helped people with their problems (i think there was one planet where everyone was very vain and wore fancy clothes). At the end he flew to Los Angeles and battled some sort of smog monster...any suggestions?
thanks!

p.s. it was a one time show/movie. I think it was made in the late seventies or early eighties. It might have been Japanese

Doesn't ring a bell. But the title of the thread reminded me of a novel I read years ago, The Integral Trees, by Larry Niven, where he actually worked out the physics of a set of circumstances that would lead to a large volume of space that would support a breathable atmosphere but still be weightless for the people living in it. A few people clung to surfaces with minimal gravity, but most got around with flippers on their feet, taking advantage of the free movement. What made me think of it was that at least airplanes would work there. (With or without wings, for that matter.)
