Can anyone tell me the tiltles of the cartoon/s that if I am not mistaken had sniffles the mouse in them and they took place most times in something like a general store. All I can remember is that things on the shelves would come to life. For example...A can of sardines would come out of the can and dance...Prince albert would jump off the can or the syrup mammie bottle would come to life. If anyone can remember these, do you know if I can get it on video/dvd? Thanks in advance...

There were several old Warner Bros. cartoons with that theme. Usually, it was a bookstore, where the covers would come to life. I'm not sure, but the title Have You Got Any Castles pops into my mind as the first one. The director, I believe, was Frank Tashlin. But Sniffles wasn't in that one. In fact, I don't recall one with him (but that, of course, doesn't mean there wasn't one). No, however, I don't know where it's available on video. Does anybody have a list?
The modern equivalent would be cavorting through a video store, and I recall one where The Warner Brothers (and Sister) did that.

I enjoyed Sniffles when I was a little girl..and am always trying to find the perfect image so I can get a tatoo made up. Did anyone ever answer your post regarding dvd's/videos? I would also love to get a copy if someone makes it, so if you have any info could you share it with me please? I remember Sniffles had a cousin who was a bat and lived in a barn and Sniffles best friend was a bookworm. I don't remember any titles, but some of the storylines were great-like when he had fairy tale & classic book characters (i.e. Frankenstein, the Big Bad Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood)come to life in the bookstore/library where he resided. Wonderful memories...take care, Leisa

Most of the Warner Bros. cartoons are available on DVD. Google "Sniffles" plus "episode guide", and you should be able to come up with a list of his titles.
Alternatively, you might try a comic book Sniffles. He was in every issue of Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies during the 1940s and most of the '50s, and they're not too expensive on the collectors market -- probably even cheaper than a DVD. (eBay is a good source.)
