Anyone remember a cartoon (I think it was a movie) featuring two vikings one small with blonde hair possibly with facial hair and his sidekick was a much larger(fatter) and taller dude and they were on some type of mythilogical quest thats about all i can manage to remember. If I am not mistaken the Disney channel use to show it back in the mid to late 80's when mom actually sprang for an old school C Band satellite.I tried to look it up under disney but could not find it so i may be mistaken about the disney part. Could someone please help???

The two main characters sound like Asterix and Obelix, two very famous European comic book characters. I'm not familiar with a movie about them but I'd be surprised if there hadn't been a movie at some point. Try googling for images of Asterix and see if he and his friends look familiar.

I'm sorry to hear you're going to be dead soon because of this. I hope the knowledge that they weren't Vikings will save you.
The series you remember was Asterix the Gaul, one of those little hero/big sidekick series like Rocky & Bullwinkle or Crusader Rabbit & Rags the Tiger (Asterix's large sidekick was named Obelix). They were residents of a tiny Gaulish village that against all odds remained unconquered by the Romans even when "omnia Gallia" had come under their rule. The reason was they were invincible, made so by a magic formula supplied by their Druid, Getafix.
It doesn't surprise me that you first encountered it on Disney. The comic books (in the firm of 48-page albums) started in the 1960s in English (tho the French editions may go back as far as the '50s)., but I think the animated movie version came out in the '70s. I'm pretty sure The Disney Channel aired it in the '80s.
Hope you can survive now.

Oh yeah. Thanks, Rob, for answering while I was out for a couple of days (and sorry I didn't scroll down earlier to see the fact that you did.)
I should add that I haven't seen the movie version. But it couldn't possibly live up to the comic book, which is hilarious in any language (and it's been translated into most of the ones in Europe). I read several of them aloud to my kids when they were younger, and they went over great.
Anyway, I'm glad Rob was here to take care of the danger before I got here.
